<International Circulation>: Could you talk about the history and the development of the International Stroke Conference?
Prof. Greenberg: ISC has progressed from being a very small meeting focused primarily on the basic science of stroke to one that is now the leading U.S meeting on all aspects of the disease . We have presentations running the gamut from the very basic science underlying stroke to prevention， treatment， and rehabilitation following stroke. The conference has grown and we have over 4，000 attendees. It is also an international conference， as many of the leading international experts in stroke are here as well.
